Public viewing and martial arts at the Kolpinghaus Graz
18. June 2024Author in the team
Katja Mußbacher is of course well known to the residents of Kolping House Graz: as a fellow resident, because she also lives with us and, above all, because her friendly and endearing manner as part of the kitchen team means that she is always ready with a smile and a few friendly words for everyone in the dining room at mealtimes. What many people don't know, however, is that Katja is also a very busy author who has already published two books at her young age and is currently writing her third. Her two books "Die Monster von Witchcross" and "Gedankenkarussell", which she also designed herself, have been published by story.one and can be purchased from us at the Kolpinghaus (with autograph!).
Next fall, Katja - and we are very proud of this - will have her first reading at the Kolpinghaus. We are really looking forward to this and will provide you with the necessary information in time.
Here is a little insight into "Die Monster von Witchcross" and "Gedankenkarusell" as an appetizer (translated from German):
Die Monster von Witchcross
"Melissa is a bright, cheerful thirteen-year-old girl whose greatest passion is reading, which she would love to do around the clock. But socializing is also very important to her, which is why she meets up with her friend Giselle every day. She is very close to nature, which gives her an indescribable feeling of freedom. She doesn't like sitting at home and doing nothing. But she also has fears, she is afraid of the dark and every night she hears scary noises. But one night she meets someone who makes her realize that she doesn't have to be afraid of the dark."
Gedankenkarusell
"Chaos, sadness, pain. So many feelings, you don't know what to do. Everything suddenly comes up, you lose yourself in your thoughts, you can't sleep. You're tired, you can't cope with your life. It's eating away at you, you're powerless. But there is a ray of hope, you just have to believe in it, allow it! You don't have to walk this path alone, there is always hope! Come and dive into a world of emotional chaos with me. Don't worry, you'll feel better afterwards, it will give you courage!"
